Varoulko Seaside Restaurant


Born in the 1952, Lefteris Lazarou, began as he was really young to work with his father in the kitchens of ships during summer. 

The reality of cruise ships, which required him to cook daily for different people,  brought him to adapt Greek cuisine to different culinary habits. . 

Year after year, he decided to create a boat on land, opening in 1987 Varoulko, on Piraeus. 

Since the beginning, he has created gastronomic masterpieces and experiences for the mind and the palate of his guests.

Among the various awards received over the years, National so as at European level, most important one is surely the Michelin Star arrived in 2002. The first star awarded to a restaurant serving Greek cuisine in Greece.
