Born in the 1952, Lefteris Lazarou, began as he was really young to work with his father in the kitchens of ships during summer.Ā
The reality of cruise ships, which required him to cook daily for different people,Ā brought him to adapt Greek cuisine to different culinary habits. .Ā
Year after year, he decided to create a boat on land, opening in 1987 Varoulko, on Piraeus.Ā
